My prostration to holy sandals of mu Guru, which serve as the boat to cross this endless ocean of Samsara, which endow me with devotion to Guru, and which grace with the valuable dominion of renunciation.
कवित्ववाराशिनिशाकराभ्यां दौर्भाग्यदावाम्बुदमालिकाभ्याम् ।दूरिकृतानम्रविपत्ततिभ्यां नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम् ॥२॥Kavithva varasini sagarabhyam, dourbhagya davambudha malikabhyam,
Dhoorikrutha namra vipathithabhyam,, namo nama sri guru padukhabyam.
My prostrations to the holy sandals of my Guru, which serve as the down pour of water to put out the fire of misfortunes, which remove the groups of distresses of those who prostrate to them.
नना ययोः श्रीपतितां समीयुः कदाचिदप्याशु दरिद्रवर्याः ।मृकाश्च वाचस्पतितां हि ताभ्यां नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम् ॥३॥Natha yayo sripatitam samiyu kadachidapyasu daridra varya,
Mookascha vachaspathitham hi thabhyam,namo nama sri guru padukhabyam.
My prostrations to the holy sandals of my Guru, adoring which the worst poverty stricken, have turned out to be great possesors of wealth, and even the mutes have turned out to be great masters of speech.

Nrupadvadhabhyam nathaloka pankhthe, namo nama sri guru padukhabyam.
My prostrations to the holy sandals of my Guru, which shine like the precious stones that adorn the crown of kings, by bowing to which one drowned in worldliness will be lifted up to the great rank of sovereignty.
पापान्धकारार्क परमपराभ्यां तापत्रयाहीन्द्रखगेश्वराभ्याम् ।जाड्याब्धिसंशोषणवाडवाभ्यां नमो नमः श्रीगुरुपादुकाभ्याम् ॥६॥Papandhakara arka paramparabhyam, thapathryaheendra khageswarabhyam,
Jadyadhi samsoshana vadaveebhyam namo nama sri guru padukhabyam.
My prostrations to the holy sandals of my Guru, which serve as the Sun smashing all the illusions of sins, which are like garuda birds in front of the serpents of the three pains of Samsara; and which are like the terrific fire that dries away the ocean of jadata or insentience.

माननीय उच्चतम न्यायालय के आदेश पर पद्मनाभस्वामी मंदिर के तहखाने में बंद वस्तुओं की सूची बनाने के दौरान बेशकीमती खजाने का पता चला, इसमें सोने की वस्तुएं, जूलरी, बर्तन और करोड़ों रुपये कीमत के बहुमूल्य पत्थर शामिल हैं। इस मंदिर का देख भाल त्रावणकोर राज परिवार की ओर से नियुक्त एक ट्रस्ट करता रहा है। यह सम्पदा इतने सालो से सुरक्षित है इसका मललब यही निकाला जाना चाहिये कि राज परिवार ने इस धन का कभी गलत इस्तेमाल नही किया। यदि सरकार के हाथ मे यह सम्पदा होती तो 1 रूपये मे 5 पैसे ही जनता तक पहुँचे वाली कहावत ही चरित्रार्थ होती और पूरा पैसा स्विस बैक के नेताओ की एकाउन्ट मे चला गया होता है।
